Yet further evidence of the Spanish building bust in Benalup. This shell was abandoned over 3 years ago when developers pulled the plug on the project – a situation familiar all over Spain and indeed other European countries including Ireland.

Self Portrait?
This is another photo I took in Benalup Casas Viejas of an empty shop front (as part of the series seen in the previous two posts) but I think I prefer it as a self portrait? I really like the painterly effect of the reflection in the window.
