Economic crisis in Spain takes it toll #1
Benalup Casas Viejas is located in the province of Cádiz, Spain with a population of approx 6,754 inhabitants. It’s a working class Spanish town, construction being the main industry which has been hit hard by the recession. The signs of the economic crisis have become quite visible since my last visit nearly two years ago and I’m sad to see that many of the town’s shops have shut their doors for good unable to survive the current climate.
